PHSCS 041 | High School Course

This is an engaging and highly interactive course in which students consistently perform experiments, gather and analyze data, and draw conclusions. This course covers the scientific method, waves, motion, and forces. This is the first course in a two-part Physics series. This course also encompasses Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).

This course uses our Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes (KSA) model to give students the opportunity to develop both real-world 21st Century Skills and Social and Emotional Learning Soft Skills to develop college and career readiness.

Course Details

Note

Students will need a scientific calculator capable of computing trigonometric functions. This course includes a lab component and uses equipment that is readily available in most homes.
