Course Description:
In this course, students will learn how to gather information, organize ideas, format stories for different forms of news media, and edit their stories for publication. They will also examine the historical development of journalism and the role of journalism in society.
For this course you will need access to word processing software (i.e., Microsoft Word). You will also need access to a device for recording video in a digital format.
Prerequisites
You will need to know how to use word processing software such as Microsoft Word. You will also need to know how to create digital video files.
