In this course, students explore the theme of imagining the future in poetry, and they study Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein. They also write and record themselves delivering a graduation speech. Students apply literacy skills and strategies, complete application and writing assignments, and practice grammar and usage skills. This is the second course in a two-part Eleventh-Grade English series. This course also encompasses the Common Core State Standards (CCSS).

This course uses our Knowledge, Skills, and Attributes (KSA) model to give students the opportunity to develop both real-world 21st Century Skills and Social and Emotional Learning Soft Skills to develop college and career readiness.
